Qualifying as a PGA teaching pro in 2011, was just the
beginning for me. I love working with golfers of all levels
to help them to maximise their potential and I feel I’ve
developed a way of explaining the intricacies of the golf
swing and the techniques required to successfully manage
your way around a golf course, that puts people at their
ease and frees them up to learn and develop.
I started playing golf when I was 5 years old and enjoyed an amateur career that resulted in me winning both my club’s Open Championship and Club Championship in 2007.
I feel it’s important that I continue to play in professional tournaments and to build on the success I’ve had since turning professional in 2009, so I intend to balance my teaching, pro shop management, practice and Scottish PGA Tour events carefully, so that I remain on top of my game on all fronts.
